I have only seen one movie in the last 30 days. That must be some kind of record.
“Pacific Rim: Uprising” is a sequel to the 2013 “giant robots fighting giant monsters” movie. Like its predecessor, it has more character development, and is more fun, than could ever be predicted from the movie’s premise. Of course, the premise suggests negative values for both of these things, so it’s a low bar.
On April 26, we made our sort-of-annual pilgrimage to the zoo, this time, as usual, we went to Brookfield. We were a bit late and hurried, but a good time, anyway.
On Saturday I had my latest RPG related meltdown. I think I have more or less figured out how this particular vein of crazy runs, and should be able to avoid it in the future. I think.
I finished Chapter Ten of “Fiddler’s Rose” Saturday, putting my two days ahead of my necessary pace. Go me.
